The Equal Rights Center’s General Fair Housing Training is an interactive, self-paced course designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of federal fair housing law and best practices for compliance. 

The course covers essential fair housing topics, including protected classes, reasonable accommodations and modifications, and how to prevent discriminatory practices related to advertising, tenant screening, source of income and housing vouchers, and evictions.

The modules contain material for all skill levels and is appropriate for leasing agents, sales agents, property managers, human resources professionals, maintenance staff, and any employees who interact with housing applicants or residents. 

The course platform is easy-to-use, can be completed at your own pace, and features practical, real-world scenarios to help learners apply fair housing requirements to day-to-day operations. The course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete, and learners who complete the full course (not this preview alone) will receive a certificate upon completion.
